Founded in San
Francisco, California and New Orleans, Louisiana in
1996, the International Institute of Professional
Analysts owns the CEC Board of Standards which is an
independent professional regulatory organization that
licenses the use of the Designations CERTIFIED
E-COMMERCE CONSULTANT and CEC certification marks. The
CEC Board regulates e-Commerce Professionals through
trademark law by certifying individuals who meet its
requirements to use the marks. CEC was started by
University and College Professors and Internet Chief
Officers to innovate education for e-Professionals and
form a worldwide professional society to assist
executives, managers, and professionals. This joint
merger between corporate America and Prominent
Universities has brought the CEC to the forefront of
manager and executive certification.

of Standards strives to foster the best in e-commerce
education, ethics, innovation, and experience.The CEC
Board works in conjunction with 75 Top colleges,
universities, and e-learning associations to foster the
education of professionals in the areas of e-commerce
and e-business. The ICEC facilitates career advancement,
continuing education, and networking for E-Commerce

ICEC Goals and
Objectives:
· To utilize and sustain the five Supreme Court
Criteria for Designation and Licensing validation which
include: Experience, Education, Ethics, Testing, and
Continuing Education.
· Maintain the Association's status as the top
Certification and licensing organization for E-Commerce
and I-Commerce professionals.
· Allow superior college and university educational
systems to provide ICECC Certification Education.
· To endorse regional universities and e-learning
institutions as having the best E-Commerce certificates
and degrees that lead up to the CEC™ Designation and
License
· Support a global network of official IIPA chapters
and representatives.
· Provide qualified members with the certified and
professional status that associates them with ICECC
· Maintain universal standards on ethical and
professional conduct for all E-Commerce ICECC Members.

The International
Institute for Professional Analysts and the subsidiary,
The ICECC are to continue to develop an individual
membership association organized solely for the benefit
of world E-Commerce and professional ICEC members.
Members shall be dedicated to self-improvement,
communicating ideas, and developing professional
contacts. ICEC and CEC members and licensees, in their
professional conduct, shall provide quality service to
their employers and clients. Professional Development
shall be the cornerstone of the ICEC.

The Institute for
Certified E-Commerce Consultants, ICE
C recognize the
responsibility of E-Commerce and E-Business
professionals to foster high ethical standards in our
profession. THE ICEC ™ does hereby adopt the following
CODE OF ETHICS and PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS to provide
direction in attaining high principles of truth,
justice, zeal and good faith dealings.

laws of the United States of America or your Sovereign
Country. To maintain high standards of conduct when
seeking employment, performing services, and negotiating
transactions so as to create a high ethical standard to
the public.

and professionalism with all of our dealings with
clients and customers.

building the knowledge base of our professional
community through study, collaboration, and continuing

universities and academic groups in improving
e-commerce, technology, and the practical education of
individuals.

occasional pro-bono assistance to the disadvantaged
entrepreneurs who may seek to grow a new e-business or
e-idea.
7. To protect the
trademarks, service marks, patents, intellectual
property, business plans of others and the ICEC and CEC
unless you have express permission to breach the trust
of the E-Commerce Consultant/Client relationship.
8. To attempt to live
in harmony with others in all transactions within the
E-Commerce World with the intent of building creative,
win-win relationships.
9. To continue to use
e-commerce and technology to reduce waste, improve
effeciency, and protect the environment through
paperless transactions. To further the harmony and
communication between the nations of the world.
